This air compressor is a beast. If you drive a truck, you need to get this one - you won't be disappointed, it comes with everything you need right out of the box.

You really need to understand what you're getting into with these compressors before comparing them fairly. People who say it's too big or too heavy probably didn't realize what they were buying - if you just need something for car tires, there are smaller options out there. This is designed as an off-roading Jeep pump that's built to fill big tires quickly. All the compressors in this performance range and price are about the same size. If you want something smaller, there are better choices. If you want something even faster for huge tires, you'll have to pay more. But for a pump of this size, this brand seems to be the best option from what I've seen.

When you're looking at a pump like this, it's important to check the inflator, the gauge, the hose quality, and whether it has a proper pressure switch or just a blow-off valve. This one gets it right - it has a pressure switch, a digital gauge, and a paddle pull inflator. Some of the other pumps that look similar are missing a pressure switch, or they have a cheap inflator or a low-quality gauge. The hose on this one is also a higher-quality rubber hose, unlike the yellow hard plastic ones that come with some other models (though those are lighter and I've never had one break).

I included a photo of my other pump, the MF-89, which has some of the issues I just mentioned - it still works fine, it's just a little slower and a bit more annoying to use. It's a bit smaller and lighter, but the Kohree has some clear advantages. I was actually going to modify my old pump, but the price on this one was right, so I just went ahead and bought it. I used to have a Superflow MV-50, which was great for smaller tires - it was light and compact. Compared to that, the MV-89 and MV-90 are both a little bigger and heavier, and they come with the same cheap carry bags that rip easily, unlike the nicer, more spacious bag that comes with this Kohree.

One feature that really shouldn't be overlooked is not having to shut the pump off to check tire pressure. With the paddle inflator and digital gauge right there while you're filling, it's way more convenient than walking back to the compressor, turning it off, then going back to check the tires, and repeating the process. That's a big usability upgrade. The gauges on these bigger pumps usually don't read accurately while the pump is running unless it has a pressure switch or bypass, because the output pressure is so high. This pump's pressure switch and paddle inflator solve that nicely so you can quickly check your progress.

The noise level is pretty low - maybe even a little quieter than the MF-89. Inflation is a bit faster too. I'm a little skeptical of their 7.06 CFM claim, but it's definitely fast. Some other brands of the same size claim around 5.65 CFM, and I'd guess this is in that ballpark. My MF-89 is just slightly slower than the MV-90 and this pump. Filling a 17" 4Runner tire from 20 to 36 PSI took about 1 minute 50 seconds with this one, and about 2 minutes 20 seconds with the MF-89. Both are fast enough for me, but this one has better design and components. For comparison, the MV-50 takes about 3 minutes 30 seconds to fill a 33" tire from 15 to 35 PSI - and that's considered one of the fastest in the smaller size category. Getting under 2 minutes is really solid.

When you compare it to something like a Viair 88P or an MV-50, they're just in different leagues. You might be okay with a smaller pump if you rarely use it, but if you're using it every time you go off-roading, you'll quickly get tired of the slower inflation times. That said, the larger size and weight are something to consider. If I could still find the MV-50 for under $50, I'd be perfectly happy with it since I don't air down my 4Runner that often. But they cost just as much as this one, and they're lower-quality pumps. For higher-end options, the ARB CK12 is a nice pump - about the same speed and maybe even better quality - but it's more than double the price. Overall, this Kohree pump hits the sweet spot for price, performance, and design features.

First, I don't usually write reviews, but I had to for this pump.
I bought this compressor for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler JLRU to air up after off-roading. My tire size is 37/12.5R18, and it only took about 12 minutes to go from 9 psi up to 36 psi. I'm using a 1/4" Flexzilla hose - I don't use the included pressure switch for two reasons: one, I monitor my tire pressure through my Jeep's display, and two, the pressure switch just slows the airflow down. Instead, I just attach a 3-way manifold to the pump, run lines from the manifold to the left and right sides of the Jeep, then split those to reach the front and rear tires.
FYI for fellow Jeepers - I cut off the stock battery terminals and tapped into one of my Jeep's 40 Amp auxiliary switch circuits that are under the carpet just below the glove compartment. From there, I ran power and ground wires to underneath the rear passenger seat. I added some basic but solid connectors to the wiring so I can either leave the pump tucked under the seat (it's tight, but it fits on its side) or pull it out if I need to. I'll see how durable it is over time, but for now, I really like it and give it my full stamp of approval.

There are a lot of compressors out there with a similar design - HR even has one that looks almost identical, but this one is $30 cheaper. It's definitely heavy, and built like a tank. What sold me was that it came with the standard air compressor fitting, which let me put together my own 2-way air inflation/deflation setup.
I tested how fast it could fill up my 33-inch tires from 20 to 35 PSI, and it managed to do two tires at once in about 5 minutes - no problem. My old inflator used to take 7 minutes per tire.
After running it for about 5 to 7 minutes, the temperature climbed up to around 150-160 F. I'm guessing having the 2-way setup helped, because tire inflation gets restricted at the valve core, and any backpressure can really make the motor work harder.
All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. Only time will tell how reliable it is in the long run, but so far, it's doing exactly what I need.

I have to admit, I'm genuinely surprised at how heavy this compressor is for what it's meant to do. The weight could definitely be a hassle for most people - it's on the heavier side compared to other 12V compressors I've used or owned, and those have worked just as well without being nearly this heavy, so I'm assuming they used some sturdier (and heavier) materials. That said, it's keeping up a solid inflation rate for my truck tires, which hold up to 80 PSI. It comes mounted on an extra base plate with rubber feet, which helps cut down on noise while running - I think that's also meant to keep grass or debris away from the hot motor if you're using it for extended periods. The whole design feels a bit bulky to me, but I suspect a lot of that bulk is for safety reasons, which is a good sign. I'm actually excited about the digital gauge - it's a nice touch. It comes with a decent-length hose, and both the compressor and hose ends already have quick-connect fittings, which is convenient. Just keep in mind you'll need to connect it directly to your car battery, since it probably draws too much power for the 12V outlets inside your vehicle. I'm hopeful this is a high-quality, reliable pump - only time will really tell on that front.

I looked at all the pros and cons of every portable air pump out there, and I'm really glad I went with this one. It's a big, heavy "get it done" kind of pump - weighs about 22 pounds. You just turn it on and off, and check the pressure right at the tire instead of at the pump, which is a huge plus for me. I've filled up plenty of tires with it over the past year, and it's done the job every time.

I bought this compressor specifically to inflate my truck tires and RV tires, and it works great. The size is just right - it fits nicely in the storage compartment under the back seat of my truck. I tried using those handheld rechargeable air compressors before, but they just didn't have the power to fill up my RV tires. This one handles them no problem at all.

Works great. It airs up 33-inch tires on my Jeep no problem, and the hose is long enough to reach all four tires. It wasn't super loud, either. Super easy to use - all the hoses have quick connections. The digital gauge is really handy.
