While these hinges can break off easily, it doesn't affect their function, so just be gentle with them during installation. Another point is that the mounting screw holes are close to the plug body's cutout, so using a nut-bolt-washer setup with a backup anchor board might be a good idea, depending on what you're attaching it to. Despite these minor considerations, it's a very nice item, especially if you can't use a large metal outlet box...
