12 Volt RV Porch Light

It uses minimal electricity and gives out plenty of light. We've set it up so it can be lowered using a rope connected to a solar-powered control, making it perfect for street lamp mode.

The mounting holes fit just right. All I had to do was cut the old wires and join the new ones with wire nuts - it was a quick, 10-minute job at most. The screws they gave were too small, so I used the old ones instead. I've only had it up for about a week, but so far, I'd give it a 10/10 rating and recommend it.

I replaced my old, dim porch light with a yellow lens for this new, bright one (which also has an optional yellow lens). I know yellow light doesn't attract bugs, but since I mostly use it for visibility, the clear lens works better for me. It was super easy to install, I did it in about 20 minutes and it looks fantastic! It's nice and bright.

Fantastic product, well-made and as good as or better than what you'd find in a camper supply store. It's so simple to install... but only if you use your own hardware! It's surprising that a company with such a great product would include useless screws and wire nuts for the installation. The screws are of low quality and strip easily, and the wire nuts are cheap with springs that fall out. It would be better if they didn't include any at all rather than sending low-quality items. But the light itself is excellent - that's what you're really buying.

It felt a bit flimsy when I took it out of the box, but it turned out to be sturdy once it was set up. It's super bright! I'm planning to use my own electrical connectors.

Simple to put in, these replacements look neat and bright. We put them on the front near the hitch and on the back gate above the door of our 21 ft trailer, replacing the old lights that were 18 years old. It's a really good deal for the money.

I've got this awesome porch light on my 2004 Winnebago Brave. It was so easy to set up with the wire nuts they provided. But I gave it 4 stars for installation because the screw holes didn't match up with the old ones. The screws they gave were too big for the fixture. I had to use a drill to widen the holes where the screws go, then mark and drill new holes in the fiberglass that were just right for the screws before I could mount it. One good thing is that the new fixture covers the old light's outline, which is a bonus.

This light is so bright. The pictures show red and black wires, but mine had red and white - same idea, though. There's no ground wire, no backing piece, and no gasket included. The instructions say you don't need one, but you do need to drill extra holes because it doesn't match the original ones. The screws they provided were too short for my RV, which was unexpected. It claims to be waterproof, but you might need to seal it with caulk. So, be ready for more work than just connecting wires and screwing it in, which is probably the case with any light. Having said that, this is a great little light, super bright, and I do recommend it.

I have installed these lights in as indoor emergency lights. They're really bright and only use a little over 3/4 of an amp. I thought each light would come with a rocker switch, but they don't have one. =^..^=

The screw holes didn't line up with the old ones, but it wasn't an issue. These lights are a solid replacement. I added a bit of silicone around the edges to ensure a tight seal. Would recommend this product.

I've put in three of these LED lights, and they're almost like a perfect replacement for the old 12v bulbs in my 1996 Terry travel trailer. What a change it's made! I really wish I had snapped some before-and-after shots at night to show how much brighter it is now. The light they cast is excellent, and they come with both a clear and amber lens so you can switch them as needed. If you're thinking about upgrading your lights, these are definitely worth getting. Just connect the white wire to the white power line and the red wire to the other power line - it could be any color, mine was green but yours might be black.

These lights are bright and easy to set up. I replaced the old front cap light and put the other one near the sewer pipe at the back. I'm planning to use them when I arrive at a campsite after dusk to connect everything. It's a great deal.

I had to replace my porch light because I didn't like the amber cover on it. I couldn't find just the cover that would fit my light, so when I found this set, it gave me the chance to add another light to the front hitch area. I'm super happy with the price for getting two lights. I haven't had a chance to check out how bright they are yet because of the other lights around. But all in all, I'm really pleased with this buy.

We changed all the lights on our RV for LED ones, except for the pricey ones, super fast. And while we were at it, we took our time to replace the sealant on the outside lights. It was a quick and easy job.

I ordered four of these lights in total. I've had good experiences with them before - they're great for exterior RV lighting. They work well on travel trailers, pop-up campers, and cargo trailers because they provide good light and don't use much power.
