At first, I was a little confused. Even though the surrounding temperature was warm, the water pipe heater was still on. This is part of the design-it doesn't switch on and off by itself, but adjusts the heat sent to different parts of the water pipe according to the local temperature. We have been using this water pipe in central North Texas for more than two months. In winter, we experienced three days of low temperature, and the lowest temperature once dropped to 9 degrees Fahrenheit, but we never encountered the problem of water pipes entering RV. Once, our heater didn't start, and the cold water pipe in the trailer froze near the water inlet, but this water pipe didn't freeze. I think it helps to thaw the thawed pipeline part when the trailer starts to heat up.
