The metal quality is just as expected. Since I couldn't find a similar lock made in the USA, I decided to give this one a try. The lock matches the description in terms of size, how it fits, and how easy it is to install. The price is fair for what you get. The locking mechanism seems a bit on the cheap side, so we'll have to wait and see how it holds up. All in all, it's been a pretty good replacement lock.

I replaced the 16 year old door lock on my Lance camper. I tried oiling the old lock, but it was just too worn out, and the key locks were almost gone. The new lock was easy to put in, taking only 2 minutes. The shiny chrome does scratch easily, so be mindful when you're screwing it in.
